The Old-World Dinner Table, in Five Objects
Linen, tarnished silver, a candle, a single stem, and the slow ceremony of a long evening.
A studio built around the quiet hours of a home.
Luna Vellata began as a private practice of styling rooms — for dinners, for listings, for the small ceremony of an arrival. It has become a small atelier of handmade candles, sourced objects, and curated linens, alongside a styling studio for those building atmospheric interiors of their own.
Our work is informed by old-world apartments, by the European hour before dinner, and by the slow, considered habit of placing one object well rather than ten objects nearby.
A small, edited collection.
Handmade candles, sourced linens, vintage objects, and curated bundles — released in small drops, never in volume.

What we do, quietly.
Each engagement begins with a slow conversation. We source, we compose, we install. We do not leave a room until it feels intentional.
Real Estate Staging
For luxury apartments, townhouses, and open houses. A staged home is a home that feels lived in by the right person — the person who hasn't bought it yet.
Boutique Hotel Styling
Suite styling, lobby vignettes, and atmospheric touchpoints. We work with small hotels building an interior language that lasts beyond the season.
Hospitality & Restaurants
Bar shelving, tablescapes, candlelight composition. The small material decisions that decide whether a guest stays for one drink or three.
Private Dinner Styling
Tables for engagements, anniversaries, milestones, and the quiet ones. Linens, tapers, vessels, flowers — composed and installed.
Object Curation & Sourcing
For clients building rooms slowly. We source vintage, sculptural, and one-of-one objects to fit the bones of a space.
Commercial & Atmospheric Styling
Showrooms, ateliers, retail spaces, and brand environments. Where atmosphere is the product, alongside the product.
Slow, considered, installed.
Inquiry
A first conversation about the room, the use, and the feeling you want a guest to walk into.
Composition
We propose a styling direction — material palette, object language, references, and a working sketch.
Sourcing
Vintage, custom, and Luna Vellata pieces are selected, sourced, and prepared for the installation.
Installation
We arrive, we stage, we adjust. We leave when the room feels complete — and not before.
Rooms we've lived in, briefly.
A small portfolio of recent and forthcoming work — staged homes, hotel suites, and dinners.
The world of Luna Vellata.
Field notes, slow essays, and studio dispatches on candlelight, old apartments, the staged home, and the small ceremony of an evening.
On the Hour Before Dinner
"In old apartments, the hour before dinner is its own small room — lit slowly, set quietly, and held a little longer than necessary."
An essay on the unhurried ritual of preparing a table — what we learn from European interiors about the soft work of welcoming someone in.

Luna Vellata.
A small atelier of handmade objects and a styling studio for atmospheric interiors — for homes, hotels, and the rooms in between.
Luna Vellata is a studio built around the quiet hours of a home. It began as a private practice — small dinners, friends' apartments, the staging of a few listings — and grew into a small library of objects and a working practice in atmospheric interiors.
The work moves between two rooms. In one, we hand-pour candles with embedded botanicals, source linens and one-of-one vintage finds, and compose curated bundles for the dinners, listings, and arrivals that fill a year. In the other, we stage spaces — homes, hotels, restaurants — for the people who will live, host, and sell inside them.
We are guided by an old-world sensibility — by European apartments, by candlelight and weighted linen, by the editorial restraint of a single object placed exactly. We avoid clutter. We avoid trends. We avoid the loudness of new things pretending to be old.
Luna Vellata is, in the end, a small studio with a long quiet ambition: to make the rooms of a life feel composed, intentional, and entirely yours.
Restraint, atmosphere, the slow choice.
Restraint
The room is finished when nothing else can be removed. Composition before quantity.
Atmosphere
We design for the light an hour from now, and the feeling a guest will carry home.
Material
Linen, wood, stone, brass, wax, candlelight. The honest substances of an old apartment.
Symmetry & Negative Space
A pair, a single, a deliberate emptiness. We compose like a still life, not a feed.
Quiet Sourcing
Estates, small workshops, slow markets, and conversations. Nothing in volume.
The Long Object
We work with pieces that will look better in ten years than they do today.
A slow conversation.
